This is a self-guided bike tour in the mountains of Central Europe. Your 13-day mountain bike journey throughout Slovakia can become an experience of the year, or even of your life time. It is 695 kilometres to ride from Bratislava to Košice through the Carpathian forests, meadows, plateaus and mountain ridges. Refresh yourself at authentic local pubs and restaurants along the route and refill your energy at cosy mountain huts and guesthouses. You can also choose a shorter route (3 – 7 days).

13 stages and a day extra for a journey back by train. Shorter routes (3-7 days) available as well. Or stay longer at the location you wish and prolong the trip.

Ride a mountain bike 40 – 65 km per day on mostly unpaved roads. This is 4-6 hours biking per day, the rest is to take a rest. 🙂

Enjoy 900 – 1650 metres elevation gain per day. The highest point is 1200 metres above sea level.
